Congratulations to Oberon FMR, Inc. (Idaho Springs, CO) the winner of the 2008 Dorsey & Whitney Venture Showcase Award. Oberon FMR is preparing to produce a cost-effective, sustainable protein meal to serve as a replacement ingredient for fish meal in the production of feeds for the aquaculture industry – a consumer of more than $4 billion in fish meal.

G. Steven Burrill, Burrill and Company presented a future vision for the life science industry that was challenging and at the same time provided….. Click here for Burrill’s presentation.
Ernst & Young’s Washington Council partner Richard Meltzer has been a player in DC on federal health care issues for a long time. His presentation here provided the BioWest audience with an idea of what to expect from the new president, federal agencies and congress.
Over 300 individuals attended the CBSA’s first ever career fair and met with 24 companies looking for employees. This was so successful that it will become an annual event.
