the largest bioscience event in the Rocky Mountain region? BioWest 2008

On November 13–14, just one week after the U.S. chooses a new President, bioscience executives from around the region will convene for a day and a half event focused on predictions and presumptions about how the new U.S. President, Federal Agencies and Congress may impact the bioscience industry in the country.

Program

CEO's, media representatives, economists and others will discuss the impact of the national election on the bioscience industry from their individual vantage points. G. Steven Burrill, CEO of Burrill and Company will kick-off the program on November 13.

Exhibitors

Fifty bioscience industry service providers will fill the hall with their products and services dedicated to supporting and growing the industry.

Showcase

Six start-up bioscience companies will vie for the annual Venture Showcase award.

Dinner

The CBSA is celebrating its 5th anniversary on the evening of November 13, at the Annual Awards Dinner. Join us as we recognize the men, women, and companies within Colorado who have impacted human and animal health in 2008. We are pleased to announce that Dave Breashears, award-winning cinematographer and the leader of the 1996 Everest IMAX filming expedition, will provide an unforgettable keynote presentation.
